Played this with three friends and the strategic depth really surprised me for a game that fits on one shelf. The thematic art on each card pulls you into the world, and setup took maybe ten minutes. We ended up replaying it twice in one night.

The turn order mechanic kept everyone at the table guessing right up to the last round, which is rare for a strategy game. Setup took maybe ten minutes once we sorted the tokens, and the theme actually comes through instead of feeling pasted on.

We've played this a few times now and the strategic depth keeps surprising me — the thematic elements actually tie into the decisions instead of feeling pasted on. It's the kind of game where you're still thinking about your last move the next morning.
