FlipToons: Season 2

Played this with three people who'd never touched the original and we were all grabbing cards within five minutes. It works fine on its own, though now I'm curious how it mixes with season one. Small enough to toss in a backpack too, which is how it ended up at a bar table with us.

The little box is so compact it fits in my jacket pocket, yet the deck-building mechanics feel surprisingly deep for something this quick. Setup took no time at all since it doubles as an expansion if you already own the first game, which I love.

We played a full game in under 20 minutes on our lunch break, and the deck-building flow clicked instantly even for my friend who’d never touched the original. Being able to use it as a standalone or slot it into the first FlipToons set makes it a no-brainer for anyone who wants variety without haul
