Tales of Ulos - Volume 1

The villain backstory in the second story caught me completely off guard, way more depth than I expected from a tie-in comic. Four stories in one volume also meant I finished it in a single sitting, which I didn't plan on.

The four origin stories here give real weight to characters I’d only seen as background figures before. At 140 pages it’s a quick read, but every panel feels dense with detail, and I’ve already flipped back to study the artwork twice.

Picked this up on a whim and couldn’t put it down once I hit the second story. At 140 pages it’s a quick read, but the way each of the four tales fills in a hero’s or villain’s past makes the whole fantasy world feel much deeper than I expected.
