Everyone plays at the same time so there's zero downtime waiting for your turn, which keeps the table loud and moving. Chaining those seven cards into your hero's story is simple to learn but genuinely tense near the end.

The simultaneous turns are what sold me, no more waiting around while one person agonizes over their move. Six of us chained our seven-card quests in about twenty minutes, and the reputation stars made every round feel close.

We played this three times in a row last night and the seven-card hero chain actually makes every round feel like a tiny story. Even at six players, the simultaneous turns keep things snappy, though I do wish the box came with a few more reputation star tokens to spare.
